Equality, diversity & inclusion statement

I am committed to providing a therapeutic space that is respectful, inclusive, and free from discrimination. I welcome clients from all backgrounds and strive to work in a way that honours each person’s unique identity, lived experience, and social context.

My practice is grounded in an awareness of diversity, including (but not limited to) race, ethnicity, culture, nationality, religion or belief, gender identity, sexual orientation, relationship diversity, disability, neurodiversity, age, and socio-economic background. I recognise that experiences of inequality, oppression, and marginalisation can have a profound impact on mental health and wellbeing, and I aim to hold these experiences with sensitivity and care within the therapeutic space.

I am committed to ongoing reflection, learning, and professional development around equality, diversity, and anti-discriminatory practice. I work in line with the BACP Ethical Framework and regularly reflect on issues of power, difference, and bias within my clinical work and supervision.

If there are any aspects of your identity, culture, or lived experience that you would like me to be aware of or consider in our work together, you are welcome to raise these at any time. Therapy is a collaborative process, and I aim to offer a space where you feel safe, respected, and able to be yourself.
